About Us

We are a proud member of the Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association.

The Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association (WALA) vision was conceived and developed by a passionate, diverse group of individuals. These Founders recognised the need for an Australian Labradoodle breed association that is member-driven, operating with democratic principles. Promoting mutual respect, education, communication and integrity, WALA’s goals include enhancing the temperament, health, coats and structure of the Australian Labradoodle breed. We invite you to join in guiding our beloved breed to the highest potential.

To earn the STAR Breeder award, members must complete a DNA Profile and test all breeding stock for hip and elbow dysplasia prior to breeding.

This is absolutely imperative for the health and longevity for your puppy.

Experience, explore and enchant

Our miniature and medium multi-generational Australian Labradoodle puppies get the best start to life in a lush, sunny valley in beautiful Tallebudgera, on the Gold Coast.

As they grow, they love running, tumbling, and exploring the outdoors — getting their paws into grass, dirt, sand, water, and all sorts of new adventures! After a big day of playing and learning, they snuggle up safely inside with the family, where they start learning how to be the perfect little companions and feel right at home.

How we arrived here

Our love for dogs started when we were just kids — and it only grew stronger with every wagging tail that crossed our path. Big dogs, little dogs, purebreds, and mixed breeds — each one left pawprints on our hearts. Among them were spirited Poodles and a loyal, much-loved Labrador who brought endless joy to our lives.

In 2016, we faced one of the hardest goodbyes of our lives when we lost our beautiful 'Bailey the Beagle' after 16 unforgettable years together. Our home felt so empty without him. In time, we knew our hearts had room for love again, and we began the search for a new companion.

That's when we found the Labradoodle — and it was love at first sight. With the playful spirit of the Poodle and the gentle soul of the Labrador, this amazing breed healed our hearts and made us believe in new beginnings.

An opportunity

We joined a guardian program and were thrilled to receive guardianship of our wonderful Charlie Brown, a multigenerational Labradoodle. As we cared for him, we quickly grew fascinated by the depth of affection, dedication, and science that goes into breeding these incredible animals.

When the opportunity arose to raise a litter of Labradoodle puppies, we eagerly embraced the challenge and the exciting new learning curve it offered. After welcoming a few litters into the world, it became clear that we had been truly captured by the experience—and by our hearts. It was then that we decided to take the next step and purchase our first breeding girl, Abby-May.

Our Aim

Labradoodle puppy

Healthy, loving and intelligent

At Aamberdell Labradoodles on the Gold Coast, we’re all about raising happy, healthy, loving, and super smart companion dogs. We put a big focus on the temperament and overall health — both physical and mental — of our mums and their pups. All of our parent dogs have been DNA tested and had their hips and elbows scored, and they’ve got the sweetest natures you could hope for.

We’re not a puppy farm or a big kennel — this is something we do purely out of love for the breed. It’s our hobby and our passion, and there’s nothing better than seeing our Labradoodle puppies grow up to be someone’s best mate and loyal companion.

With only one or two litters at a time, we’re able to give every puppy the care, love, and attention they deserve. That extra TLC in their early days really makes a big difference in shaping them into the amazing dogs they’re meant to be.

Developing the puppies

At our home, every puppy’s story begins with love, care, and intention.

We proudly follow the internationally renowned Puppy Culture program, ensuring that the earliest weeks — those that matter most — are filled with the experiences and lessons that shape confident, well-adjusted dogs for life.

From the very beginning, our Labradoodle puppies are gently guided through a bio-sensory and Early Scent Introduction program during their first three weeks. As they grow, we watch them closely — noticing the spark in one’s eye, the calm wisdom in another — learning who they are becoming so we can place them with the families where they will shine brightest at eight weeks of age.

Life here is rich and full of adventure.

Our puppies meet not only our family, but neighbours, friends, other dogs, horses, and even the occasional visitor from the wild. Every interaction, every sniff, every wobbly step in the grass helps them build the confidence they’ll carry into their new homes.

Our home is their home.
They are not tucked away or hidden — they are right in the middle of everything:

  • Snoozing in their own cozy bedroom

  • Romping in the outdoor grassed play pen

  • Joining us on the deck for late afternoon catch-ups and barbecues

And when they’ve been especially good (which is often!), they earn a bit of free time inside the house — dashing after Charlie Brown, Abby-May, and her sister Dora-Belle in joyful, clumsy puppy chases that fill the rooms with laughter.

Above all, we honour the mother of the puppies.
She is cared for with the deepest love and respect — just as every mother deserves — and her happiness sets the tone for the little lives growing by her side.

Here, puppies are not just raised — they are cherished. And it shows, from the moment they first meet their forever families.

Chosen for you

Our Puppies
We’re excited to share our beautiful multi-generational Australian Labradoodles with you!

When the puppies are three weeks old and you’ve placed a deposit, you’ll be invited to visit them and their lovely mum. We encourage you to enjoy the visit and fall in love with all the puppies — because we usually wait until they’re around six weeks old to match each puppy with their new family. This way, we can find the perfect fit based on each puppy’s unique personality and your family’s needs, helping to create a lifelong bond full of love and happiness.

By the time your puppy comes home, they’ll have been health checked, vaccinated, microchipped — and most importantly, they’ll have been showered with love and care.

We take great pride in raising our puppies the right way, following ethical breeding practices guided by the World Australian Labradoodle Association (WALA), the Gold Coast City Council Breeder Code of Practice, advice from our trusted local vet and vets at Queensland Veterinary Specialists, and the support of our network of breeders, mentors, and local trainers.

Finding safe, loving homes for our puppies is our top priority — and we know they’ll quickly become a much-loved part of your family.

We can’t wait for you to meet them and fall in love!
