Tiny pups, big crate goals kicked!

A couple of weeks of patient training and the pups are happily taking themselves into a crate for a treat and a sleep. Cross fingers they will continue with the good behaviour when they get to their new homes. 🎯🐾🏆

Strutting their stuff on the lead at 7 weeks old!!!🐾✨

The Bowie litter is 7 weeks old and have completed their introduction to the lead. I think they nailed it!

7-Week Wonders: Early Training Success!

At just 7 weeks old, these pups already understand “come” and “sit” thanks to a little early training. You can see how well they’re doing—they’re focused, eager, and so engaged! The period between now and 16 weeks is crucial for their development, and they soak up everything you teach them like little sponges.

Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)

Early Neurological Stimulation on a Labradoodle puppy

These exercises produce neurological stimulations which don’t occur naturally during this early period of life. Done once a day, benefits bring improved cardio-vascular performance, stronger adrenal glands, more tolerance to stress and greater resistance to disease.

Stimulated pups have been found to be more active, exploratory and calmer with simple problem-solving tests.

Learning to 'mand'

This is what manding looks like

At Aamberdell we endeavour to give our pups the very best start in life.

It's important for life long effective communication between you and your pup to teach the skills that enable the pup to 'have a voice' and communicate with you, so at Aamberdell we teach them to 'mand'. They will sit and look at you without command and wait for you to pay attention to them.

In this video. Litter E are learning to mand for treats and attention. During the video their litter mates are doing their best to distract, but the pup being trained mostly ignores them. 🐾💡🐕

Here's a little video of the result of all the "Mand" training (sitting without command to gain attention). Even though these 6 week old pups are excited, they are still manding for a pat.
